Happy New Year! 2022, Let’s Do This!

From all of us at TUS, Happy New Year! We hope you had a relaxing Christmas break filled with lots of fun and laughter and surrounded by family and friends.

We’re already approaching the middle of January and it’s time to focus on 2022 and what we hope will be a prosperous year for all of our customers and their businesses. 

We’re entering 2022 with lots of exciting developments to tell you about including new team members, new products, our new e-commerce store and much more. All will be revealed in good time! 

But before we talk about this year let’s reflect briefly on 2021. 

Despite a number of external pressures including product supply issues, delays within the UK pallet network and the continued uncertainty in the wider world as a result of Covid-19, we saw the demand for underfloor heating products continue to grow strongly. 

As a business we grew sales by more than 20%, added new members to our team, re-launched our UFH Training courses and moved our distribution operation to a single, central site next to the M1 in Castle Donington, Leicestershire. 

It was certainly a year of progress for us but one that didn’t come without it’s challenges. As we gear up for the year ahead, we’re expecting more of the same but we believe that most businesses and consumers are beginning to understand and accept the current state of play with regards to the challenges being faced. 

So onto 2022!

We’re excited to have grown our team already this year with the addition of Charlotte Bancroft who joined us on January 4th in her new role as Business Administration Assistant. Charlotte is an experienced administrator and joins us having worked most recently for Wilo UK. Her role is to support our growing sales team and ensure orders reach our customers on time. Welcome to the team Charlotte!

Another exciting announcement is the re-launch of our e-commerce store which is now live at tradeunderfloor.co.uk/shop

The refreshed online store features all of our most popular product lines from manufacturers including Reliance and Emmeti plus the complete range of Tio thermostats and controls which are exclusive to TUS online in the UK. The Tio Smart thermostats are proving to be hugely popular already and we’ll shortly be announcing a release date for the wireless thermostat and wireless wiring centre from the same range. 

There’s lots more to come from us in 2022 so look out for more updates coming soon.
