Our client was responsible for the construction and internal fit out of the Facilities Building at the new Market Bosworth Marina. The large building is steel framed with a cedar clad exterior and features a water source heat pump system with solar panels fitted to the roof.
To support the efficiency and responsibility of the build, TUS were approached to work closely with the client to plan and provide a suitable underfloor heating solution for the whole of the ground and first floors.
A pipe in screed system was installed on both floors with the underfloor heating pipe work connected to Emmeti manifolds. Individual zone control was achieved by installing programmable room thermostats in the respective zones.
The result is a superb new facility that provides consistent and even heat outputs throughout and ensures visitors to the Marina enjoy total comfort at any time of year.
