RetroTherm® MAX Low Profile Dry Screed Underfloor Heating Panel – 12mm pipe

Engineered for high performance and rapid installation, the RetroTherm® Max low profile dry screed underfloor heating panel system offers quick, effective solution for both new build and retrofit underfloor heating projects.

Manufactured from high-density, reinforced gypsum, the CNC-routed panels are designed to keep floor height build-up to a minimum (18mm) whilst delivering optimal heat transfer, structural integrity, and compatibility with a wide range of floor finishes.

Each panel is precision routed to accept 12mm underfloor heating pipe at 150mm pipe spacings to maximise heat distribution and efficiency. The high heat conductivity and thermal mass of each panel further ensures that heat is transferred quickly and evenly around the room.

RetroTherm® Max panels are ideal for projects where immediate installation of floor coverings is a priority. The system is completely dry, eliminating the need for wet screeds or levelling compounds – as a result, floor coverings can be installed just 24 hours after UFH install, significantly reducing project timelines.

RetroTherm® Max is suitable for use with all common floor finishes including tiles, engineered wood, carpet, and vinyl. The robust panel structure supports direct tiling using a flexible tile adhesive, or installation of floating or bonded floors with minimal preparation. Where required, acoustic insulation layers and levelling treatments can also be incorporated to meet project-specific requirements.

Whether used in solid floor constructions or timber joisted floors, the RetroTherm® Max system provides a durable, high-performance, low-profile underfloor heating.
