RetroTherm® FLO 16 Underfloor Heating Castellated Tray – 16mm pipe

The RetroTherm® FLO 16 castellated tray system from TUS offers a simple pipe fixing alternative to conventional clips, for screed underfloor heating systems.

This egg crate style tray holds a 16mm pipe and is suitable for screed levels of 40mm or more. This makes the trays popular for renovation and retrofit projects, where the base substrate is concrete or screed.

Designed as an installer-friendly, durable solution, the tray is made from rigid recycled high impact polystyrene and features a thermoformed, castellated structure. Each panel has built-in connections along the tray edges for fast and accurate alignment, and there is no requirement for adhesives or pipe fasteners with this system. For optimal performance, the substrate should be level, clean, and thermally insulated.

These castellated trays simplify and speed up the installation process even more with their simple push fit design. The profile securely holds 16mm pipework in place at variable spacings of 50mm, 100mm, 150mm, or 200mm, with no additional clips or tools required. They are also able to accommodate both concentric and serpentine pipe layout designs. Installers can walk directly on the robust mats whilst pipe laying.
