Kelmore PrimeMore Universal is a versatile, high-performance primer specifically formulated for porous and absorbent interior or exterior backgrounds.

Perfect for preparing substrates such as sand/cement screeds, concrete, plywood and backer board overlays, prior to application of adhesives, screeds or levelling compounds.

This blue-pigmented primer improves adhesion, reduces excessive absorbency, and enhances the workability and finish of subsequently applied materials.

Easy to dilute and apply, PrimeMore Universal delivers excellent surface preparation with wide coverage from every bottle.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION:

  • Pack size: 5 litres
  • Dilution ratio: 1:3 (1 part primer to 3 parts clean water)
  • Coverage: Approx. 150 – 220m² per bag (30–44m² per litre when diluted)
  • Recommended use: Cement/sand screeds & renders, concrete (including blockwork), plywood overlay (Class 3), tile backer boards and plasterboard
  • Colour: Blue
  • Application temperature: ≥ 5°C (air and background)
  • Drying time: Approx. 30 minutes at 20°C
  • Shelf life: 12 months (unopened, frost-free storage)
  • Cleaning: Wash tools with water before drying

 

Directions for Use:

  1. Mix 1 part PrimeMore Universal with 3 parts clean, cold water (by volume).
  2. Apply evenly to clean, dry surfaces using a paint roller, sponge, or brush.
  3. Avoid over-application so product doesn’t pool in textured surfaces.
  4. Allow to dry fully before applying additional coats, adhesives, or smoothing compounds.
  5. Additional coats may be required for highly porous backgrounds.

We currently offer two shipping options to get your goods to you in a timeframe that suits:

Standard delivery to mainland UK (3-5 working days) – £9.99
Next working day delivery to mainland UK* – £11.99

*Next working day deliveries are subject to orders being placed before 1pm. The delivery window for next working day deliveries is between 8am and 5.30pm. 

All orders received after 1pm on a Friday (including weekend orders), that have upgraded to next working day delivery, will be despatched on Monday for a Tuesday delivery.

Bank holidays are treated in the same way as a non-working day, so please take this additional delivery time into account when ordering.
