Kelmore MoreFlex Rapid S1 is a flexible, rapid-setting tile adhesive ideal for adhering RetroTherm Backer Board underfloor heating panels.

This high-performance, S1-classified adhesive has excellent deformability, bond strength, flexibility and temperature tolerance, making it ideal for use with underfloor heating systems.

MoreFlex Rapid S1 is engineered to achieve a secure bond over a wide range of surfaces, including cement screeds, concrete, timber, and existing tiled floors. It’s also moisture and frost resistant, making it suitable for both interior and exterior use.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION:

• Bag size: 20kg
• Colour: Grey
• Water required: 4 litres per 20kg bag
• Coverage per bag (approx.):
  2.5mm thickness: 6.4m²
  5mm thickness: 3.2m²
  (To cover 1m², approximately 1.25kg of powder will be required for every mm thickness of solid bed adhesive)
• Application thickness: Up to 15mm
• Open time: 25 minutes (at 20°C)
• Temperature resistance once cured: -30°C to 90°C
• Application temperature: ≥ 5°C
• Shelf Life: 12 months (cool, dry, unopened)
• Classification: EN 12004 (C2 FT S1)

Directions for Use:

1. Pour 4 litres water into a clean bucket. Gradually add the powder whilst mixing thoroughly until a smooth, slump-free consistency is achieved.
2. To maximise the pot life, open time and workability, allow the mixed adhesive to stand for 2 minutes then remix briefly before use.
3. Apply the mixed adhesive onto primed substrate using a notched trowel to serrate consistent, straight ribs of adhesive.
4. If adhesive forms a skin prior to fixing of boards, remove adhesive and reapply fresh layer.
5. Allow to dry before foot traffic or applying further coverings.
